Whole-Home Remodels

The big vision, managed end to end.

Additions, open-concept conversions and top-to-bottom renovations — one team, one schedule, one accountable point of contact for the entire project.

A whole-home renovation is a big undertaking — and the difference between a smooth project and a stressful one is management. Pro Con Property Services runs your entire remodel under one contract: design, permits, trades, construction and finishing, coordinated by a single point of contact who's accountable for the whole thing.

What a whole-home remodel with us includes

  • Design guidance, drawings and permit management
  • Additions and open-concept conversions
  • Load-bearing wall removal with proper engineering
  • Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and full interior finishing
  • Coordinated trades on a single, managed schedule

One team, one point of accountability

The biggest risk in a large renovation is the gaps between contractors — where schedules slip and no one owns the problem. We eliminate those gaps by managing every trade ourselves. You make decisions and see progress; we handle the coordination.

Older homes, modernized with care

Century homes and dated layouts are our favourite challenge. We open up cramped floor plans, modernize systems, and bring homes up to today's standards — all while respecting the character that made you fall for the place.

Common Questions

Whole-home remodel FAQs

How long does a whole-home renovation take?

Whole-home remodels typically take 3 to 6 months, depending on the size of the home, the scope of structural work, and whether an addition is involved. We build a detailed schedule during planning and keep you updated at every phase.

Can we live in the house during the renovation?

Sometimes. For phased renovations, many families stay and we work section by section. For extensive top-to-bottom projects it's often faster, cleaner and safer to move out temporarily. We'll give you an honest recommendation based on your specific project.

Do you handle design, permits and everything in between?

Yes. A whole-home remodel with us is fully managed — design guidance, drawings, permits, trades scheduling, construction and final finishing all under one contract with one point of contact. You're not left coordinating separate contractors.

Can you add an addition or open up walls?

Yes. We build additions and open up floor plans, including removing load-bearing walls with proper engineering and permits. Opening up a main floor is one of the most transformative changes you can make to an older home.

How do you keep a large project on budget?

We scope the work in detail up front and give you a fixed written quote, so the price is clear before we start. Any changes are documented and approved in writing before they happen — no surprise invoices at the end.
